Touchpoints is an evidence-based theory of child development, based upon more than 60 years of research by Dr. T. Berry Brazelton and his colleagues at Children’s Hospital in Boston and in communities around the world.

Touchpoints is a way of looking at child development that can make parent-child relationships stronger, starting before a child is born and continuing through early childhood. Touchpoints is a chance for parents and other caring adults to help each other understand children’s behaviors and how they learn. Doctors, nurses, early educators, case managers, and others can use Touchpoints to help support families.

Our Vision:
To develop the Syracuse Touchpoints site into a successful multidisciplinary group dedicated to building family partnerships and sustaining the Touchpoints approach.

Our Mission:
To strengthen parent-child relationships through a child-centered system of care.
